Graphic designer and British kickboxing champion Lydia Durkin knows better than most what it takes to succeed when the chips are down.
After a potentially career-ending ankle injury left her laid up in hospital and staring retirement in the face, she finally realised just how far she could go in her chosen sport.
One black belt and two British championship medals later, it looks like Lydia is only just getting started.
